My icons look weird
I've lost my Desktop icon layout, they were re-arranged by your program!
My icons look weird
Try rebuilding Windows Explorer icon cache. To do that, right-click on any folder or a file of a type that is label-enabled, and choose Label > Preferences from the context menu that appears. In the preferences dialog, click Refresh icons button. After Windows Explorer refreshes its icons, they should return to normal.

LabelsWin tries very hard to preserve your Desktop icon layout and it does this by saving it and then restoring it when necessary. However, it seems that these operations do not work in a very stable way with Windows Explorer (surprise!). So if your Desktop icons become re-arranged, this means Windows Explorer has failed to properly restore their positions when LabelsWin asked for that. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about it other than hope Microsoft fixes this in a future version of Windows.
